# Building API Collections

## Overview

Data Access APIs allow you to provide your end users with a REST API endpoint where they can pull specific data you configure and segment using row level security. Data is ingested by Verb and optimized in a warehouse based on configured data. Creating user access is simple and based on your existing authentication methods so Verb never stored user information. <br>
