Configure Transformation Steps

Add Transformation Steps

Select the desired transformation step from the left side panel and drag onto the Transformation Canvas. Placing the Transformation step directly over the Input will automatically generate a connection.

Deleting Transformation Steps

Select the transformation step to open the right panel. Select the Ellipsis next to the transformation step name and select Delete.

Renaming Transformation Step

Select the transformation step to open the right panel. Select the Ellipsis next to the transformation step name and select rename.

Create Connections

Step Inputs are represented by triangles at the top of the Transformation Step Tiles

Step Outputs are represented by squares at the bottom of each Transformation Step Tile

Create connections by selecting a Step Output symbol and connecting to the desired output tiles.

Every valid step must have an input and an output. Some steps may require more than one input and all steps can have multiple outputs.

Delete Connections

Selecting a connection will show a “Delete Connection” box on the top left of the Transformation Canvas.

Preview Data

To view the data in a table use Preview Data. Preview Data shows all of the columns and first 100 rows of the selected table.

Preview data is available from any tile on the Transformation canvas on the right panel.

This includes the Input, Output and all Transformation Steps.

Sort arranges the displayed rows, and Search returns the first 100 results from the entire Table.
