Select Multiple Data Sets

As part of data selection, multiple data fields can be shown for the same axis. This enables toggling between the different data sets (Alternate Axis Option), or superimposing the data on the same axis (Independent Axis).

Aggregation Types and Value Format

After selecting the data column, adjust the field or the aggregation type by selecting the Configure menu on the right side of the individual data field. You may reorder the fields within their section (Actual or Aggregated fields). Actual fields will always be listed before the Aggregated fields.

The aggregation types available are based on the column data type. Specify how the values are displayed in the data configuration panel while selecting aggregation type.

Date Values

Day, Week, Month, Quarter, Year, Hour, 30 Minutes, 15 Minutes, Minute, None

Decimal and Number Values

Count, Count (Including Nulls)

Count Distinct, Count Distinct (Including Nulls)

First Value (Ascending or Descending), Last Value(Ascending or Descending)

Sum, Average, Median, Maximum, Minimum

Standard Deviation (Partial Sampling or Entire Population)

Variance (Partial Sampling or Entire Population)

Text Strings

Count, Count (Including Nulls)

Count Distinct, Count Distinct (Including Nulls)

First Value (Ascending or Descending), Last Value(Ascending or Descending)

Group By Date (Past/Future)

On many tiles, you can select a Date field to group the data by. This will automatically format the date into two categories: "Past" and "Future". You can adjust the labels as needed.
